The 2010 Armor All Gold Coast 600 marks the 20th anniversary on the Queensland motorsport carnival, but this year will be unlike any other with V8 Supercar Events building a framework for a fresh and spectacular motorsport festival.

With the unexpected addition of another race to our event calendar, we had a very tight deadline to deliver a great web experience for the new event. I was after a website that was well designed, flexible enough to change as the event evolved and easy to update by multiple staff.

After briefing the job into local companies, Infinity caught our eye because of their competitive pricing and experience in building sites on the Joomla CMS.

The FX Business Centre is a leading Document Management technology and services company servicing the South Coast and Monaro Region of NSW, Australia. They offer intelligent solutions to streamline document intensive processes, backed up by industry leading support from Fuji Xerox.

Solution
The FX Business Centre were searching for a cost-effective open-source CMS to launch a new modern website. The new website allows users to place orders for print cartridges and other consumables online, as well as request service calls. FX has reported substantial positive feedback from their client base regarding the website and this brands them as a leading provider of document management services in the South Coast region of NSW.

Evolution Laser is Sydney's well established cosmetic laser company, trading since 2003, with clinic locations across Sydney. Their Medical Grade Lasers are TGA approved and their staff have constantly up skilled to keep on top of the latest technologies and improvements. Each clinic manager is a partner in the business, who have the care of their clients as their number one priority.

Solution
The original Evolution Laser website was becoming dated both in its design and its user interface. A new website with an ongoing SEO strategy was needed to increase traffic and sales. A solution using Joomla CMS was developed which achieves these goals by providing a better user experience and higher search engine rankings.

The Pines Shopping Centre located in Elanora on Queensland's Gold Coast houses 90 speciality shops with numerous variety store such as Coles, Woolworths and Kmart.

For The Pines Shopping Centre, Infinity Technologies have designed and developed the ideal shopping centre website. The website is designed around the specific interests of the three main user groups, website administrator, shop owner and the general public. Through the website CMS the administrator can manage numerous component extensions such as a shop directory, an events calendar and a survey component. Shop owners can manage their own shop listing and are able to also create vouchers for website visitors to download for special promotions. The general public are provided with clear navigational functionality and can easily navigate to any shop listing through an advanced flash map search function.

Head Gear provide salon quality hair products for men. The recently launched product range is now available in most shopping centres including Coles and Priceline.

Solution
Infinity Technologies were given the terrific opportunity to have creative and technical freedom in the design and development of the new Head Gear website. The opportunity provided us with the ability to develop some of the cutting edge creations that have come out of our research and development productions. The whole website has been cleverly built on an open source content management system allowing the website administrator to have content management control over the site, something flash sites struggle to offer. Flash has been overplayed only where needed giving the site the visual dynamics that only flash can offer. The website comprises of a dynamic CMS template with a 3-D flash product display and a store locator.

The client had decided on Joomla CMS prior to choosing a provider and approached us based on our previous designs and cost-effective solutions. The new Bendelta website features a brand new design backed by a flexible CMS. The imagery on the website was carefully chosen to not only look good, but to reflect the company's values. The CMS allows the client to simplify the maintenance and administration of the website and post new articles.

As Australia's largest specialty donut and coffee chain, Donut King is one of Australia's most well known brands and operates more than 320 stores across Australia, serving 30 million donuts every year. The design of the old Donut king website was outdated, and the information on the site was hard to maintain and hard for users to find.

Solution
The new Donut King website was built by Infinity using Joomla CMS. One of the main features of this website is the Stores Directory featuring a radial search function integrated with Google Maps. This function allows visitors to enter their postcode to find their nearest store location within a specified radius. New locations can be added to the directory with ease and a Google Map with the corresponding location (marked uniquely with a donut) will automatically be generated. Another feature of the site is the product showcase section, featuring smooth scrolling and mouseover effects.

Cerebos is a successful and innovative sauce, spice and coffee manufacturing organisation. Cerebos' brands have been part of people's lives in Australia and New Zealand for generations. The Cerebos Export website is a new website that is designed especially to showcase Cerebos' range of export products.

Solution
The Cerebos Export website is powered by Joomla CMS, allowing Cerebos staff to easily maintain the website's content as well as allowing the flexibility to extend the website's functionality in the future.

The Domain Car Park provides ideal city parking with over 1100 parking spaces which offer cheap, convenient parking which is easy to access no matter which direction you are coming from. It situated right near the Domain, Botanic Gardens and Art Gallery of NSW.

With a new change in management under InterPark came the desire to build a fresh looking and business functional website for the Domain Car Park. Infinity developed the Domain Car Park website to give in an individual and international presence whilst also including the functionality requirements for the site which included Australia's first online car space booking system and the ability for the client to manage external advertising with the site.

The Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA) represents leading promotional marketing agencies in Australia and New Zealand. As the industry association, APMA required numerous capabilities in order to deliver a full online service to their members.

Solution
Working with a website redesign concept, Infinity built the new APMA website with Joomla CMS and customised five popular working components to add advanced functionality. The finished product allowed APMA to easily manage the website with minimal effort. Member agencies can log into the website to advertise and manage job vacancies, search for preferred suppliers, as well as manage their own listing information.
